1. Scope and responsibility

This policy covers the Loop app, the web experience at loopwith.me, and related support services. The operator responsible for personal data is Vàng Văn Kim, at Tổ 12 Phường Mường Thanh, Điện Biên Phủ, Việt Nam. Send privacy requests to contact@loopwith.me. warcore.online remains an infrastructure address serving Loop; using that infrastructure does not change the responsible operator. This policy does not govern independent websites linked by users.

2. Information you provide

Account data includes your email, hashed password, account identifier and sign-in session information. Profile data includes your display name, username, avatar, bio, birthday, country, language, gender and interests when provided. Your birthday supports age checks and is not included in your public profile. Do not provide a false birthday to unlock a feature.

Content includes posts, images, videos, comments, messages, quotes, votes, scheduling information and audience choices. When you contact us or report a violation, we receive your description, relevant content identifiers and evidence you choose to submit. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes or identity documents in an ordinary report.

3. Usage and technical data

Servers process IP addresses and network request information to receive connections, limit abuse and protect the service. Sign-in sessions have identifiers, creation, expiry and activity times. Following, blocking, profile visits, likes, comments, hidden content and recommendation feedback are stored to provide those functions. The feed records qualified impressions, bounded reading or playback activity, interactions and feedback to rank content, measure quality and reduce repetition.

Loop does not request your contacts, precise GPS location or browsing history outside Loop. This website does not operate advertising trackers. Content you choose to publish may inadvertently reveal location, health or other sensitive information; review it before sharing.

4. Purposes of processing

We use data to create and protect accounts; provide profiles, posts, messages and Connect; remember privacy choices; transfer, validate and process media; recommend content; prevent fraud, spam and harm; handle reports, disputes and data requests; maintain reliability; and meet legal obligations. We record the terms version and acceptance time when you accept in a version supporting that feature. We do not sell your private content for training third-party language models.

5. Legal grounds and choices

Where a specific legal basis is required, we assess it by purpose: providing the service you request; legitimate interests in security, abuse prevention and service improvement after considering your rights; legal obligations; or consent where required. Accepting terms does not mean consenting to every possible use of personal data.

You can provide recommendation feedback using Hide or Not interested, adjust privacy settings, withdraw camera or microphone permission, and request restriction or object to processing. To request a reset of learned data, contact contact@loopwith.me as explained on the Data rights page; the current interface does not offer a self-service reset button. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing. Some data remains necessary for the feature you are using or for legal obligations.

6. Who can see content

Visibility depends on account settings, post audiences, following relationships, blocks and conversation access. Public content may be viewed by people with access, copied or shared outside Loop. Recipients of messages, calls or media can independently save them using their devices. Blocking someone or deleting content cannot recall every copy another person has made.

A report can include messages you select as evidence and can be reviewed by authorized moderators. Private information does not become public merely because it is used in recommendation calculations.

7. Messages, Connect and calls

Messages travel over encrypted connections and are stored on servers for synchronization, reporting and access control. Loop does not describe text messaging as end-to-end encrypted. Connect can hide identity from the other participant during its initial stage; the operator still has account identifiers and necessary session information. This is not anonymity from the service provider.

Calls use WebRTC and may pass through a relay server. Infrastructure and participants can process network information needed to establish a call. Loop has no server-side call recording function in the current configuration. We retain related state, timing and report data; we cannot prevent another participant from recording with their own tools.

8. Personalization and learned preferences

Loop combines post content, language, freshness, interactions, interests, repetition and previous relationships to choose relevant posts. We create numerical representations of post text and may use a ranking model trained on recorded interactions. Private messages and call content are not inputs to this post recommendation model. The model is not intended to infer legally protected traits to determine employment, credit or comparable opportunities.

Prioritizing discovery of strangers means prioritizing authors without relationships or interactions known to the system; it does not guarantee that two people have never met offline. Privacy and block filters still apply. See Content recommendations for available controls.

9. Providers and necessary disclosures

Necessary data is processed by the server, database, object storage and call relay infrastructure serving Loop. Media currently uses Cloudfly storage in Vietnam. Access to warcore.online may pass through Cloudflare network infrastructure. Email sent manually to contact@loopwith.me is processed by the mailbox provider; current mail DNS uses Google. We do not share plaintext passwords with providers.

Mobile push delivery and automatic verification/recovery email are not enabled in the published server configuration. If third-party services are activated for those functions, we will update the relevant notice. We may also disclose data in response to valid legal requests, to protect safety, address violations, or transfer the service with legally required safeguards and notices.

10. International processing

Loop is operated from Vietnam. Using it elsewhere may transfer data to Vietnam; network routing, providers or recipients you choose may involve other countries with different privacy laws. Where transfer safeguards are legally required, an appropriate mechanism must be established before relying on that transfer. You can ask about processing locations and applicable safeguards through our contact email. This policy does not claim that Loop has representatives, certifications or transfer filings in every country.

11. Retention

Account information and ordinary content are retained while needed to provide the service, unless deleted or subject to account action. Recommendation data has periodic cleanup windows: impressions approximately 7 days; events and feedback approximately 30 days; ranking training examples approximately 14 days. Aggregated interests remain until reset, relevant preference changes or account deletion. Relationship history used to define strangers may remain for the account lifetime and does not automatically disappear when you unlike or unfollow.

Temporary Connect conversations that do not become permanent are generally cleaned on a 24-hour schedule; session metadata has an approximately 30-day window and report evidence approximately 90 days. In-app support reports have a 90-day window. Conversations that become permanent follow ordinary messaging rules. Scheduled cleanup does not occur at an exact second for every record.

Some transaction, abuse-prevention, legal-request or recovery records may be retained longer where necessary and lawful. We assess their purpose, legal obligations and recovery needs, restrict access, and do not use data held only in recovery copies to serve the active feed.

12. Account deletion and its limits

You can request deletion in account settings or through the website’s Delete account page without reinstalling the app. The system reauthenticates you, revokes sessions and queues data deletion. Identifying account information is erased or replaced; posts, media, recommendation information and settings are handled by cleanup jobs.

Sent messages may remain in recipients’ histories, and report evidence can be retained for safety or legal purposes. Minimal technical identifiers may remain for data integrity or abuse prevention. Copies, reposts or exports made by others outside Loop are not under our direct control. The Delete account page explains the effects and how to request further assistance.

13. Younger users

The general minimum age is 13; higher local minimums and parental or guardian requirements still apply. Loop is not intended for children under 13. Random Connect, including text, voice and video, requires age 18 and is checked by the server. Profiles without a valid birthday cannot participate.

Accounts whose birthdays indicate age under 18 are set to private, hidden from username search and online-status visibility, and cannot choose messages from everyone. Permitted restricted messaging choices remain available. If you discover an underage account, use reporting or email us with the subject “Child safety”. We may restrict an account while checking and address data collected from an ineligible user.

14. Security

Current safeguards include HTTPS, password hashing, expiring session credentials, server-side access checks, restricted media URLs, request limits and separated infrastructure permissions. Camera and microphone access is used for features you intentionally open. No system guarantees absolute security. Use a unique password, sign out on shared devices, and report unfamiliar access. Where an incident requires notification, we will follow applicable notification law.

15. Regional data rights

Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, receive a portable copy, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to a supervisory authority. EEA/UK rights have conditions and exceptions; requests generally receive a response within one month, with notified extensions where allowed. In California and US states whose laws apply to our activities, rights may include knowing what data is collected, correction, deletion, opting out of sale/sharing or targeted advertising, and non-discrimination for exercising rights. Loop currently does not sell data or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Users in Vietnam, Brazil, Canada and elsewhere can submit requests under local law. Not every law applies to every organization; we assess scope, deadlines and exceptions for the particular request rather than requiring you to waive mandatory rights. See Data rights for request instructions, proportionate verification and appeals.

16. Device storage and updates

The browser stores information needed for sessions, preferences and drafts using local storage mechanisms; web draft media may be in IndexedDB. This data may disappear if you clear site data or the browser reclaims storage. See Cookies and local storage for controls. For material changes in data use, we update the effective date, give notice appropriate to the change, and obtain fresh consent where required. You can request information about previous versions by email.
